Finite-Time Current Probabilities in the Asymmetric Exclusion Process on a Ring (2005)

Abstract We calculate the time-dependent probability of non-zero current through a selected bond in the totally asymmetric exclusion process with periodic boundary conditions. For specific initial conditions corresponding to the minimal probability of non-zero current, we derive an explicit analytical expression which is valid for arbitrary time intervals.
