This article reports on a study which investigated the significance of mealtimes for older adults living independently in the community, as well as the opinions of healthcare professionals working with the population. Topics discussed include the relationship between nutrition and health in older adults, the meaning of mealtimes to older adults and the themes that arose in consulting with adults.
